This Vegan Hot Cocoa is the perfect snow day topper! It's rich, creamy and hugs you all the way down.

Serves: 2 cups
  • 1½ cup non-dairy milk
  • 4 tbsp any non-dairy milk (separate and in addition to above)
  • 4 tbsp raw cacao powder or cocoa powder
  • 1½ tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp vanilla
  1. Using a frother or blender, froth the nut milk. This will take a couple of minutes and gives you plenty of time to prepare the chocolate!
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, add the 4 tbsp of milk, cocoa powder, syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  3. Whisk continually, until a thick chocolate sauce is formed.
  4. Once the nut milk is frothed, turn the heat off and pour the frothed milk into the saucepan. Whisk lightly until the hot cocoa is a light brown and mixed.
  5. Garnish with a little sprinkling of cocoa powder + cinnamon, then Enjoy!
